Dear Friends:

Positive Options for Women, a group of women for women sponsored a Gala fundraising dinner and concert to raise funds for a media campaign. By utilizing the persuasive power of the media, we hope to impact our culture on the question, "Abortion, whose pain is it?" Positive Options for Women want to change the hearts and minds of people. We want to present a positive alternative to women in a crisis pregnancy situation. Ours is a positive voice that says we care about women and about women's choices.

The Gala Dinner/Concert on September 24th was a special evening of dinner and entertainment by the "Soda Shoppe Gang". This 20-member cast, perform high-spirited tunes from the 50's, 60's and early 70's. A silent "arts & things" auction with paintings from many gifted donors was too presented.

Special thanks to those who bought tables, the KOC, Pro-Vie Clare, Diocese of Halifax, St. Clements CWL, St. Thomas Aquinas Parish (Fr. James Mallon), CCRL of Antigonish and many others.
