Nova Scotia Election 2009 |
|
If you’re a baby in the womb waiting to be born broke with government-caused debt and grow up to be overtaxed to pay for our slothfulness, stupidity and greed, the safest place in Canada to be is PEI with a “mere” one in ten chance of being killed by a doctor. The worst (not surprisingly) is Quebec, our most socialized province, with about four chances in ten of getting dismantled alive and thrown in a waste bin. As John Powell writes in his book, "The Silent Holocaust", doesn't anyone see what I see; feel what I feel about the tragedy of abortion? This silent holocaust is expensive, it’s estimated that the productive people in this country, whether you agree with abortion or not, pay more than an estimated 80 million dollars a year with our tax money, thanks to our socialist health “care” system for these murders, with each killing of an unborn child costing between $450 - $1,200. The average of $1000.00 would be appropriate. Taken in part from canadafreepress, E. James Smith) Refer to stats on our website at: NS Demographics, abortion and live birth statistics
With such little response from candidates in this election we are asking all electors to call their candidates and ask the hard questions or be cautious and ask their opinion on "choice" in regards to abortion, as an example. The same line of questioning could be posed regarding the following:
Candidates with Ridings with Phone numbers. So where do we stand in Nova Scotia on the issues with our politicians? Immediately following the election call, Campaign Life Nova Scotia sent out questionnaires via fax and e-mail, to ALL PC and Liberal candidates, as well as to the leaders of the NDP and Green Party. To-date we have received only one reply from the liberal camp (a candidate) and 12 from the PCs, two being phone-in responses, and one a completed form. Premier Rodney MacDonald questionnaire is somewhat ambiguous and the other 10 candidates duplicated his reply. Now for the crunch: some may not like this, but the NDP support abortion for all nine months of the pregnancy for any reason or no reason whatsoever. The same can be said for the Green Party although some members may well be pro-life. The Liberals, as quoted from their office headquarters state: “It is the longstanding view of the Liberal Party of Canada that women must have the right to choose, and this party will take no step that limits, or opens the door to limiting, access to safe medical services for women across Canada”. Whereas we have only received one liberal response, we have no idea where the individual candidate stands on life and family issues. Not only are the politicians afraid to tackle the issue, the media are likewise culpable in putting a cone of silence on the issue. Here is a picture that the Herald refused to print. We spoke with the photographer, Clancy who took this picture and had his permission to publish, but the Herald said "No" even though it is a healthy baby that had a spina bifada operation while in the womb. So the question is how are we ever going to bring the public to see the baby and let them speak through their pictures? Could this be why people who see themselves as advocates for the unborn take to the streets with the slaughter of innocents? Perhaps if the media were more open about the reality of abortion, then such displays would not be necessary. For example, 12,300 people go to Ottawa and March for Life with many denominations, MPs etc and nary a word in our paper, but 50 Tamils block the highway and it is covered for two days in the media. What message is being sent by the media? Here is and ad that was ran in the US with the above photo, it would be far to expensive to run here even if they said yes, but perhaps the other dailies in NS would run it. |
