  How will pro-life efforts succeed?

Respect for human life will be restored only through the participation of every pro-life person influencing public opinion.  The public needs to be educated about the facts of abortion, the breast cancer connection, the development of the unborn child, and the nature of euthanasia and the reality of a dangerous anti-life, anti-family world agenda being pushed through the United Nations.

All dedicated pro-life youth are encouraged to join the family of volunteers.

THERE IS A PLACE FOR YOU!

Consider This:

Science has now given us decisive evidence that points to the worth and humanity of babies in the womb. An unborn child is genetically unique at fertilization;9 its heart begins to beat at 18 to 21 days after fertilization; by the sixth week the adrenal gland and thyroid are functioning;10 eight weeks after conception all body systems are present;11 and the baby's fingerprints are beginning to form by the twelfth week.12 Medical advances in the past 30 years have given doctors the ability to observe the development of a baby from its earliest stages. Anyone who has seen photos of an embryonic child will testify to the emotional impact of such images.

Indeed, science can play a significant role in exposing the lie that life in the womb is somehow less than human. The General Electric Corporation recently aired a powerful advertisement showcasing its new 4D-ultrasound system. The commercial depicts a married mother and father in their doctor's office, (she was wearing a wedding ring) viewing a 4D-ultrasound image of their unborn child. The popular song, "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" can be heard in the background. The parents are visibly moved in seeing this incredibly lifelike depiction of their growing baby, and the commercial ends with a shot of the couple holding their newborn child, which looks remarkably similar to the ultrasound image they had seen. I have no idea whether the producers of this commercial were endeavoring to send a pro-life message, but they made a profound statement nonetheless.

Take a good look at these photos of the unborn baby shown in the GE television commercial:

Powerful images such as these can give parents a heart-tugging glimpse of their baby as it develops in the womb. 4D ultrasound devices can create a moving, real-time image of wonderful realism and clarity, especially when compared to the grainy quality of traditional black-and-white 2D-ultrasound technology. Note the fully formed fingers, eyelids and other features on this beautiful child. It is not a mass of foreign tissue, clearly, it is a baby. Imagine the horrifying reality that the precious child depicted in the GE photo could have been killed legally, without anesthetic, for any reason or no reason, even after he or she had reached full term and had been partially delivered. How can we deny that partial-birth abortion, and all forms of abortion, are murder?
